Plural Family Portraits

Plurality or multiplicity (medically referred to as Dissociative Identity Disorder, but many plurals don't identify with the diagnosis) is the experience of there being many consciousnesses in one body. As a plural person myself, I wanted to show the many people who exist in a body interacting in a way they can't physically.

Each system (collection of people in one body) was given the opportunity to have as many people as they wanted pose for a family photo. Each of these individual negatives were scanned and digitally composited to show the system together in a new way.
